Weight Loss: Self-forgiveness for Mental Health: Hiding Weight Gain

Free E-book Download:

Put Your Name In If You Want 'To Know More':

What is Self-forgiveness?
It is the process by which an individual forgives oneself for accepting and allowing oneself to separate oneself from objective reality, releasing positive and negative value judgments such as good or bad, right or wrong, positive or negative - as interpretations of reality regarding something or someone, to rather accept and allow oneself to have an objective look at reality - as what it is, with an increased ability to be stable as breath.

Self-forgiveness Statements for Mental Health: Weight Loss

Failure Through Gaining Weight and Hiding It:

=== Self-forgiveness for Mental Health: Weight Loss Click here to subscribe to my mailing list === I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to fear failure believing i should hide my weight gain because people will judge me as a failure if they know about it and wear clothes that are biggies so they will not notice my weight gain.

I forgive myself for accepting and allowing myself to connect this to a memory in the past, thereby living the past in the present, rather than being here, present, in every moment.

The stress that i am subjecting my body to, when i have internal conversations like this conversation below, for example, is not helping because the mind will feed on this and it will resource the body for energy, like a laptop plugged on the wall, (electricity flowing to the computer through the cable, from the socket on the wall).

Note: this is a memory

Me in My Mind:
'Can they notice that i gained weight? I know they will not, because this loose top hides it perfectly. I have to hold my breath to hide my stomach so they will not notice'.
Friend: Are you pregnant?
Me in My Mind:
'Boy, she is rude!' (fear reaction)
Me talking (reacting, but allowing myself to breathe freely, thankful, that i do not have to hide it anymore, because it is now out in the open):
'No, but i know i have to lose some weight' (fear reaction: embarrassment)

The fear reaction can lead to a physical reaction which leads to stress

When i am stressed, my muscles tense, my heart rate goes up and my thoughts race.

I know that if i release my value judgments through self-forgiveness, i will be more stable because i will remain here, present in this moment, as breath, and will not be reminiscing about the past and worrying about the future.

I realized that weight loss is about me finding out about the what food to eat and how much of it i should take
to achieve the weight where my body can have optimum movement.

This involves an objective look at data i gathered from my weight loss, weight gain and weight maintenance logs for example, to pin point what i ate when i lose, maintain or gain weight, rather than a belief driving me about what weight loss is and what it isn't.

I commit to stop and breathe and release the judgments i have about my body size and weight by doing a quick self-forgiveness when and as i see myself having internal conversation about being 'fat and ugly' in my mind within personal bias.

I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to desire to lose weight from a starting point of looking good and feeling good, so people will like me and so people will admire my new look, to stand out from the crowd,

Instead of realizing that i am creating a value judgment based on beliefs and it is for me to realize that this desire to be liked and to be admired is stimulated by my 'negative self-talk' within my mind that' i look ugly when i am fat' and is a polarity crutch that i hold on to, to be able to feel okay about myself .

This is an opportunity for me to look at why i do not feel okay about myself.

What do i feel inferior about?
Looking ugly, because i judged myself as inferior having seen the stars on tv and how slim they all are, comparing myself to them.

What will happen to me if people don't like me?
Nothing really. I will still be myself. I can use this though, to accept and embrace all parts of me and learn how to be self-intimate with me.

I realized that,  instead of having internal conversation within my mind about how i look when i am fat, i can look at 'fat' objectively and see that it's function is to protect the body's vital organs and instead of judging myself as ugly when i see myself gaining weight/ fat, i can release the positive and negative judgments through self-forgiveness, and correct myself by eating the amount of food that will give me the right amount of fat based from my own impartial investigation that will help the body to function/move optimally.

I commit myself to stop and breathe when i see that i am judging my body and instead of having internal conversation within my mind through negative or positive 'self-talk', i can correct myself by looking at reality objectively, see what the definition of the word 'fat' is - see it as what it is, as per its definition and how i can effectively support myself using that definition in changing my subjective view of reality.

What is Mental Health?

According to Wikipedia,
Mental health
From the perspective of 'positive psychology' or 'holism', mental health may include an individual's ability to enjoy life, and create a balance between life activities and efforts to achieve psychological resilience.

My Expanded Definition of Mental Health
describes a level of psychological equilibrium which includes an individual's ability to enjoy life, and create a balance between life activities and efforts to achieve psychological resilience based on stability as breath, within a collective state of life where what is best for all is considered.

What is Forgiveness?

Wikipedia
Forgiveness
Forgiveness is the intentional and voluntary process by which a victim undergoes a change in feelings and attitude regarding an offense, lets go of negative emotions such as revenge, with an increased ability to wish the offender well
My Expanded Definition of Forgiveness
Forgiveness is the intentional and voluntary process by which an individual undergoes a release of positive and negative value judgments such as good or bad, right or wrong, positive or negative - as thoughts, feelings, emotions, reactions, back-talks and behavior regarding something or someone within an objective consideration of reality with an increased ability to be stable as breath.

Word Web
Self
Your consciousness of your own identity

My Expanded Definition of Self:
Your realization that your identity is that you are a part of the whole, that is all life and that standing for what is best for all is what is best for all beings sharing this one life, and the realization that taking this stand is essentially what is best for you.

What is Self-forgiveness?
It is the process by which an individual forgives oneself for accepting and allowing oneself to separate oneself from objective reality, releasing positive and negative value judgments such as good or bad, right or wrong, positive or negative - as interpretations of reality regarding something or someone accepting and allowing oneself to have an objective look at reality - as what it is, with an increased ability to be stable as breath.

Self-forgiveness Statements:

I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to be directed by the collective idea of weight, size, etc. that is impulsed through words by the media, the family, the society and the entire civilization - believing that i have to fit in their idea of what weight i should be and how i should look to be liked by all - to be happy

Instead of realizing that this is a partiality that prevents an objective consideration of what weight loss is about, where weight loss is being distorted within bias

I forgive myself that i have accepted and allowed myself to create a consequence outflow in the food industry where animals and plants are being judged as food items that is either good or bad that will either make me look good and feel good or will make me look bad and feel bad.

Rather than an objective consideration of what the size of the body is in relation to the optimum mobility of the body to perform its functions and the amount of nutrition needed for optimum survival, my decision to lose weight is about my own individual survival as myself being part of a particular group - my family, my culture etc. rather than my decision as an individual as part of the group where all belong, where i consider the well-being of all (humans, plants, animals , the body etc.) in my decision to lose weight.

Instead of considering my standing as a human that is part of life and the consequence outflow to all concerned - where the systems of civilized living becomes a system of mind patterns of beliefs, ideas, judgments etc. that i participate within It becomes a matter of my self-interest rather than a matter of collective interest.

Within my subjective assessment of what food can make me lose weight or gain weight based from my own beliefs about how i can feel good and look good the choice of what to eat becomes distorted with personal bias

I compare animals and plants and then judge them according to which one can make me feel good and look good rather than an objective assessment of plant and animal nutrition and how much of it the body needs to survive optimally..

The stress that we subject our body to, through subjective food choices becomes unimportant, because the emphasis is on how we feel and how we look.

Stress being the body's reaction to a mind reaction to fear of eating so-called 'bad' food, the body undergoes chemical changes that requires readjusting to achieve homeostasis.

As this is going on, the mind is also busy using energy for its survival, as we think, 'I should not eat this food, but i have been craving for this food - should i eat it or not?'.

The energy that we get from food that is given for the body to use in performing its physical functions is becoming resourced to supply the mind with energy because of the conflict we create within our mind in choosing so-called 'good' food which is stimulated by our fear of so-called 'bad' food.

'Good' food completes 'bad' food just like 'love' completes 'hate'. One cannot exist without the other.

Plants and animals are judged as good or bad and blamed as the cause of weight gain within a subjective consideration of  reality within our mind.

When i live driven by the community's idea of who i should be or what my weight should be or how i should look and feel, I am directed and is participating in an external  collective mind design that i accept and allow and therefore become a participant in the collective consequence outflow that can either be contributing to the general well-being of all - humans, plants, animals etc. or the collective degradation of all life on earth through subjective value judgment.

Is it possible to choose what food will give our body nourishment without 'stress'?

No Cook Coconut Banana Pudding with Goji Berries

Image
My Food and Weight Log
Free E-book Download
In the Philippines, we have a dessert called 'Guinatan'. This is a dessert cooked with sticky rice flour made into balls and refined sugar.  This is a dessert cooked in a soupy broth made of coconut milk. It has sliced bananas (similar to plantain in the US, called 'saba'), the sticky rice balls, the sweet potatoes, taro and jackfruit.
This recipe uses agave nectar. I also use unrefined coconut sugar when i have it in my pantry.
White Chia Banana Coconut Pudding
Note: black chia seeds can also be used in place of white chia seeds in this recipe
Ingredients:
2 c coconut milk  ('So Good' brand in the US)
2 T Agave Nectar (or any unrefined sweetener like coconut nectar etc.)

1 T Goji berries (optional)
Procedure:
1. Put the coconut milk, the sweetener, the chia seeds and the banana slices in a bowl
2. Leave the Chia seeds soaked in the coconut milk for 20 min.(or more)

Food Labels, Supermarkets, Pleasure and Food

What is the first choice for pleasure in the US?

Sex is number 3 in the list and  Shopping is the number 1 choice.

We seek for pleasure in the supermarket.

We use food to make us happy.

We do not look at what's in it for the body and what role our mind plays in this.

Why should we look after our body and give it optimum nutrition?

Because the body is giving us the vehicle to move around and express ourselves

Why should we care?

Because we want to move around and express ourselves and live life fully

Why should the officials care?

Because there will be consequence outflow and it will eventually come back on us and then we as a group - team Life, will eventually deal with it. So why not deal with it now?

Food, according to the Word Web is any substance that nourish our body.

I find it common-sensical that every food sold should have a label showing how much of the vitamins, minerals etc.- all nutrition information that is in that food shown, so that when we pick up a food item, it is not about what one expert said was good for us but what food combination should we eat to support our body optimally that we will be looking for in the supermarket.
What vegetables, fruits, nuts and seeds can we buy and prepare that will give our body optimum nourishment?
The labels should assist us in figuring this all out.
The next thing to do?
Food preparation.
Food preparation can be as simple as putting salt and some spices to make it pleasing enough for the mouth to chew on and helpful enough for the body to digest and make available for all parts of it to function effectively.
Portions and calories shown in labels are okay but will not help us see how much nutrition (all of it shown either through codes, labels etc.) the particular food item has. It should not just show us Vitamin D and Calcium or Vitamin A and C but it should show us all nutrition information for data gathering to support the body.
and believe that because we have made these revisions - that life will change.
We are diminishing ourselves by giving ourselves some help, but not all help that we need to help everyone effectively.
Why don't we empower ourselves to give ourselves all the help we need to live life fully?
I have a suggestion.
What about if we put our heads together and figure out how we can sort out the food problem by giving all the means to get all the basic necessities all need and label all food items in such a way that we can see all the nutrition that is in the food item we are buying and then use it to look for complimentary food items that we need to buy, to help the body get optimum nutrition?
Having said that, we have to make sure that the nutrition the body gets stay in the body for the purpose that it was intended for - for proper functioning of the body.
It does not make sense to give the body nutrition and then take it away, for the mind to use to judge or blame ourselves or another. We have to learn to stop ourselves from participating in both positive and negative 'self-talk' because the polarity creates conflict and friction that needs energy being taken from the body.
It is the simple things that matter that we fail to do.
Let's look again with open eyes and see what we missed, and give it to ourselves.

Rewriting My Life: Food, Weight, Disease and My E-book

Free E-book (PDF Copy text only)  Download Here

In this blog, I am looking at how we are continually creating stress through our mind which eventually creates stress that creates consequence for the body because of memories we connect to fear.

Where did my fear of Disease start?

Why did i ran after cooked vegetarian food, cooked vegan food, raw food etc. instead of finding out the origin of my fear?

My grandmother told me a story that i was suffering from a disease when i was young so i was in the hospital when she saw a cockroach come near me, and how she became so angry, so she ran after the cockroach and then prayed for God to either take me and free me from my suffering or heal me.

She believed that God healed me, but this became a memory of a near death experience to me which I associated with fear of illness and disease.  I even became 'scared' of the cockroach when i heard this (i forgave myself  for this).

It is interesting that this memory of the past is what i am living in my decision to eat healthy food. I ran away from my fear of disease/illness and fear of death to eat what i call 'healthy food'.

It was only when i investigated my fear that i saw this:

>Memory1: I heard the story of my grandmother of me in the hospital sick and fighting for my life
>Memory2: I saw the woman with psoriasis who does not go out of her house because of the disease
>Memory3: I saw the woman with tumors growing in her body disfiguring her
>I connected this memory to fear of disease
>I reacted in fear - fear of disease and fear of death
>I saw my mom and dad arguing about money
>I connected this memory to fear of being alone believing they can decide to separate in any moment
>I had heart pains in school
>I reacted in fear of disease and fear of death
>I connected the memory to the fear
>I attended a vegetarian event with a talk
>I tried to eat healthy food
>I became cooked vegetarian, then cooked vegan, rawfoodist, a fruitarian, a juice feaster etc.

Instead of looking at the fear and the origin of it and release it, i ran after 'healthy food' within the belief that i will be complete through eating what people call 'health food' - running after cooked vegan food, raw vegan food, fruitarianism and breatharianism.

I realized i can rewrite this and face my fear and rewrite my story:

>I heard the story of my grandmother
>I reacted in fear - fear of disease and fear of death
>I saw my mom and dad arguing about money
>I connected this memory to fear of being alone believing they can decide to separate in any moment
>I had heart pains in school
>I reacted in fear of disease and fear of death
>I connected the memory to the fear
>I attended a vegetarian event with a talk
>I tried to eat healthy food
>I became cooked vegetarian, then cooked vegan, a rawfoodist, a fruitarian, a juice feaster etc.

Rewriting the Script:

>I looked  at the earliest i can remember i had that fear
>I decided I can direct myself to stop living this fear and stop judging certain kinds of food as better than other food
>I direct myself to stop and breath when i see myself having energy arising within myself or reacting in fear etc.
>I do self-forgiveness every time i see myself fearing disease and fearing death - wanting 'health foods' (like raw food etc.), or thinking about whether or not i should eat this food item or that food item, etc. where i live the past in the present and doing self-forgiveness every time i see myself wanting a relationship that last as i ran away from my fear of being alone
>I looked at the food items i eat and became  aware of the nutrients in the food
>I am using a software to see words ' (positive) and meat to 'disease' (negative)
>I correct myself by eating all kinds of food realizing that on my plate, are animals and plants sacrificing their lives for all of us to survive.
>I log my food intake and my weight where i am being aware of what food makes me lose weight, gain weight or maintain weight
>I made an E-book to assist others by showing them what i found out
> I make it my mission to speak about different kinds of diets and put these diets in proper perspective where they will be a cohesive whole that aligns with the expression of the earth, animals and plants
>I am assisting in the creation of dignified life for all so all can get food to nourish the body

Weight loss Part 6: Light Foods, Diets and Positive Attitude

Facebook Page

We say that foods with a lot of carbohydrates, like rice for example, feels heavy in our stomach and because of that we believe that it must be bad for us or not 'healthy' for us.

So, we have this desire to eat foods that are light. We go and search for a diet that consist of what we believe are 'Light' foods.

We read and search in the internet and we watch some videos to find out which diet will be 'good' for us.

This is what i am going to look at in this blog - diets.

There are so many diets that came out to cater for or satisfy this desire - the desire to eat foods that are light.

What am i talking about?

We originally ate all kinds of meat
but one day, we were diagnosed of some health problem
we were scared and fearful
so we researched about food and saw a blog, a study, a book or a website that told us
that of all kinds of meat, chicken has the least fat content
and that lowering the fat content of food we eat is the way to 'better health'
we looked for that kind of food in our supermarket and we bought
a skinless breast of chicken and low fat food products
and because we see people who did this in ads saying 'they look good and feel good'
when they tried this diet
and because we believed that when we ate that same kind of diet
we felt the same way
we eventually said 'we looked good and felt good' in this diet

Or

We tried increasing our protein intake and lessened the carbohydrates
within the 'atkins diet' or the 'ketogenic diet'
because we read or listened to someone who said it was good
and that they 'felt good and looked good' in this diet
so we eventually believed we 'felt good and looked good' in this diet

Or

We tried being vegetarian
because we heard Dr Oz ( friend of Oprah) or PETA ( People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals )
advertising Vegetarianism
or because we heard a lecture from a yoga group on the benefits of eating a vegetarian diet
so we go and buy some vegetarian food
or cook some
because they are saying 'they look good and feel good'  on the diet
Eventually, after we ate some and tried the diet
we said, 'we look good and feel good'

Or

We tried being a vegan
because we watched a film or documentary about the benefits of a vegan diet
so we go and buy some
or cook some
so we eat it because we remember that the people in the ad said
'they feel good and look good'
so as we experience some lightness
we said 'we feel good and look good'

Or

We tried all of the above and so decided to kick it up a notch
so we decided we will try raw foods
because we have seen the before and after stories
of people who have lost so much weight in raw foods
who said they 'feel good and look good'
so we eat it and we also said 'we feel good and look good'

Or we tried all of the above and decided we have to eat

simple meat dishes plus veggies, fruits and nuts without grains within the 'paleo diet'
we believed what we read and what they said in the media, which is 'we feel good and look good'
we bought some books being sold and watched some videos
and eventually we said the same thing they said, 'we look good and feel good'

Or

We tried all of the above and so decides to push it to the 'extreme'
so we tried breatharianism (eating a little bit in a week, but does not eat nor drink most of the time)
we listened to interviews,  videos and books about it
we believed what they said
and believed that eating this way will reduce the garbage in the ocean
solve the poverty problem in the world
so we bought books of authors and seminars
and believed that this diet will make us 'superhumans' where, not only do we look slim but
we also believed we have transcended hunger and is now in another dimension
believing that 'we are living in light or prana' making us 'special' - 'superhumans'
they said, 'they feel good, look good, light, happy and special'
we tried not- eating and have felt that the whole 'experience' is 'out of this world'
believing that because we have survived
eating and drinking only a little bit (2-7 Tbsp of food and drinking 1-2 cups of water in a week)
still having energy to  run and do work etc.
make us a 'special' kind of human
so eventually we said the same thing the breatharian's say, 'we feel good, look good, light, happy and special'

When we say  rice is heavy and salad is light, for example, what do we really mean?

According to the Word Web:

Heavy
Dense or inadequately leavened and hence likely to cause distress in the alimentary canal
Light Easily assimilated in the alimentary canal; not rich or heavily seasoned

We really do not see how the body digest food, so how can we tell that certain foods can cause distress or can be easily assimilated in the alimentary canal?

We can't within our self-imposed limitation as we are thinking about things constantly or busy manipulating ourselves to come to a peaceful state of mind missing what is going on in our stomach, unaware of the physical sensations that will tell us very faint shaking of our muscles etc. in our body as we try to manifest our beliefs in whatever diet we are in or so-called lifestyle we are in which is spoken or written physically through our words, our movement etc.

We do know that , it is a feeling of heaviness which is associated with tiredness, sleepiness, slow movement, restriction in breathing etc. which we associate with control and restriction that we resist

while it is having a lot of energy to move with ease and breathe with ease that we associate with lightness which we associate with freedom.

So, it is our desire for freedom within our movement which is our definition of what Life is and fear of being handicapped which is our definition of sickness and death that we are living within our desire for light and heavy foods projecting these to food when we are the ones creating these in our minds, because we fear surviving in this unequal world system of money. We have to stop projecting this to food and instead take self-responsibility to stop recreating these in our minds.

As we can see above, these different diets was interpreted in many different ways by the mind. It is us as the mind that manipulates the body to manifest our beliefs that makes us 'feel good and look good' perceiving different effects in our body rather than looking at the fears that fuel them which we can stop if we want to.

Instead of manifesting consequence  in 'our without' - as this unequal world system, as we recreate our fears in 'our within' - as our mind, we can live in a stable world system based on oneness and equality as we decide from the starting point of what is best for all of us. Instead of the constant re-creation of the weight loss industry through our fears, where we give money, food, our body etc.  a value that is more than or less than Life, we can give money a value equal to life and have a balanced ecosystem of money that benefits all instead of just a few and we can create an equal and one relationship with food, the body, nature and all that is here and create heaven on earth.

In whatever diet we choose, the end result is money and profit for the businesses that we support - the book authors get money, the groceries, restaurants, the media, the water companies, the oil producers etc.

Even breatharians use a form of transportation so a business or corporation is making profit out of that. They use a little bit of food, water to take a shower and they have houses or places with water service so the water and oil companies are also making money out of them. They are in this way, within this world system and support the inequality that is here.

The carnivorous community as much as the vegetarian comunity, the vegan community, the raw food industry, the atkins diet proponents and the paleo diet creators also get money. They too use water and oil so they also support this unequal world system of money.

Everyone supports this world system of money. We use resources given to us by the earth which is being mined by businesses and corporations running this world for money and profit
The earth has given its resources to all equally, but it only benefits the few - the elite. We have to share it to the poor, the uneducated, the elderly and the unemployed - who are the majority so we can all live in dignity.

We are all here 'together' in this one life.

We have to stop creating separation within different lifeforms, plants, animals, vegetables etc. within this 'eating healthy' paranoia based on our fears saying our diet is 'better than' other diets. Our body was created from different sets of chromosomes given to us by our parents so one body's needs differ from another's. It is 'foolish' to say one diet is better than another because we have different body constitutions here.

Quote:

'A simple environmental event could affect how genes worked and that could be inherited
as if a memory of an event is being passed down through generations'

We have to consider  a way to give the poor access to money to support the body's survival and assist all to live life in dignity - considering a  Basic/Living Income Guaranteed from birth to death.
